TreeHouse Villas - Adults Only - SHA Extra Plus

We stayed here to celebrate our 8-year anniversary, and the entire experience was nothing short of incredible. The location is breathtaking, the staff was exceptionally professional, and the food and accommodations exceeded all our expectations. It truly felt like one of the best resorts we've ever visited — peaceful, private, and absolutely stunning.

Honestly, there wasn’t anything we would have changed. Everything from start to finish was flawless.

The tree house is perfect, the nature was as we are in haven especially with the cloudy weather. The public swimming pool was amazing!! The staff are so sweet and helpful. The manger greets everybody on the complimentary happy hour, he is so friendly.

The villas are not so private, you can be seen if you are in the villa swimming pool and even in the room if you don’t close the curtains. The villa swimming pool water is so cold, will be better if there is heated system.

Beautiful villas. The ambience was very relaxing and the villas themselves were very well appointed.

I would say it is a little hard to get to and from, once you’re there you can’t really go anywhere else. There was also a little pier you could swim up to in the sea however, the steps for this were broken and rather dangerous so I would recommend staying near the shore.

Everything at this hotel was exceptional! The villas are amazing, the private pool, the views, the restaurant, the staff. We got engaged here so it’s my favorite hotel of the whole trip (of course) but the staff just took everything to the next level. We wish we had time to stay longer and can’t wait to go back

The villa is beautiful and the concept is great. Staff were very friendly although communication was all last minute when we booked months in advance . Food at Italian restaurant was delicious

Villa needed some repairs - broken tiles in plunge pool, floor boards broken in dressing area and bath handle broken. To get a boat out as well was very expensive .

Everything was amazing, the views and style and staff, the food, I want to come back already!

Beds not comfortable due to lack of proper slatted frame supporting the mattress.There can still be made more effort to safe energy. No need to have lamps & aircon switched on when guest are not in the room. Bathtubs out of place in this kind of property.

This is such a unique hotel with an unforgettable vibe. Highly recommend. The turn-down service was beautiful as were the small gestures like champagne and 'happy honeymoon' sign on the bed when we arrived.

Our shower did not have hot water the entire stay.

Stunning scenery we had a pool villa which was perfect for a bit more privacy although people occasionally wonder past. Complimentary alcohol (limited choice) outside bar was good and great view out over the sea. Breakfast was good and friendly staff.

Misleading point of sale as its part of another hotel which has all the facilities including the spa (limited appointments as serves 2 resorts) in fact if the other hotel wasn’t there treehouse villas has no facilities other than swimming pool and steam room. At check in we were left waiting almost an hour at the security gate amongst mosquitoes.Theres One restaurant nice food like everything else well overpriced, the 2 other restaurants are in the hotel next door and their guests including children have access to common areas making it not an adult only resort as it’s sold as. Theres distinct lack of transport into town only twice a day that you have to pay for,they charge you for water at the restaurant even though it’s free in the rooms. You pay for any water sports equipment such as kayaks (which again are in the adjoining hotel) we waited over 1 hour for ice and slow response for anything that doesn’t have a cost attached or indeed the check out which was very punctual in fact we basically got thrown out. The transfer is chargeable by boat to Phuket and no other options available.

Omg. Lived up the expectation and the best of all it had halal food since majority of islanders are Muslim. Impeccable service. Perfect room with among view and facilities. Food and ambience were perfect. Since we don't drink alcohol, they replaced it soft drinks 12 cans for 2 days . Air condition was cool for January summer. Bathroom, shower , batthub in room were fantastic. Transport service was provided at additional cost of 1500 one way per person. Always recommend to go with them to avoid issue since the pier doesn't have taxi options. Good for stay for 2 days maximum as the island has no activities and nothing to do. Just getaway island to experience the treehouse. Resort does have yoga and few kayak activities with table tennis. Thai restaurant had amazing food and best Thai omelette we had in Thailand. There's complimentary dark chocolate and milk chocolate bar.

Very pleasant resort with extremely comfortable rooms for the last part of our holiday. We had an excellent time, relaxing or taking part in one of the organised tours. Breakfast was lovely and offered plenty of options. We loved the BBQ on the beach at dinner time.

All good. Nothing to dislike.

- Treehouses themselves have a really nice layout and the landscaping/layout felt very luxe- Food and especially cocktails at the Treehouse's main restaurant were very good- A set number of complimentary drinks every day was a nice perk- Location is very secluded, perfect if you just want to relax and do nothing (we also enjoyed the yoga class)

- The level of service wasn't what we expected from a 5-star resort. Some things were done promptly and well, but it was irregular, and often we had to ask multiple times for things to be done, or attention to detail was lacking (i.e. empty bottles and a drinks bucket left at a deserted lounge chair by the beach for over 24 hours)- The beach at low tide is not nice to look at. So essentially, half the day you can't swim/enjoy sitting or lying at the beach, because it is a mud landscape (the view is fine at high tide)- Please be aware the hotel is very remote and almost inaccessible by land (which is a lovely feature on its own!), so you have to essentially arrive by boat, which they charge a hefty extra sum for. Comparable resorts (price and star) we stayed at during our trip included the boat transfer for free- Extra things such as borrowing kayaks or SUP boards cost extra, again something you would expect to be included for the price of the stayUltimately, there are nicer resorts for similar prices in Thailand

thank you Treehouse villas for a luxurious stay for our honeymoon. it was unforgettable and very special. the food and cocktails are delicious.the villas are truly unique and we loved the attention to detail. especially the plunge pool and bar area. exceptionally clean.we loved watching the sunset and spotting the birds from our balcony. special thank you to the staff who were so kind, friendly and accommodation, especially Minx and Nah, and Joy at the Alfresco restaurant. it was lovely to meet you.the morning yoga at neighbouring resort was brilliant

we were disappointed to be charged 160baht (over £4) for a bottle of water at the Alfresco restaurant. but it’s a minor thing

Staff was really nice, resort is remotely isolated. Nature and wild life and sunrise is amazing to view! The GM also made a daily visit to all guest and interacted with guests. Couldn’t fault the hard work from staff here, food is good and breakfast service is great. 5 owners of this hotel need to invest more into hotel facilities, especially for the price they are charging guests.

As we got a boat from Yao Yai to Yai Noi pier, which we then had to make a 30mins mudslide journey up to the treehouse where only local taxis were available. One did not expect such a brutal car ride up to this hotel, will recommend future guests to take a boat directly to the pier of this hotel! When arrived we had to wait 20mins for the buggy to pick us up, because someone forgot to pick us up, so that already set the mood for this stay. Furthermore the route to reception wasn’t explained clearly that nearby sister resort was the cheaper side, where beach towels wasn’t available and one had to go back to reception to get a towel. Would suggest clear communication to guest to manage expectation for treehouse villa guests of facilities. Especially if this price was extortionate rate, and maybe better to book directly with hotel than booking.com. However it was a great experience and stay and would recommend those who are in quest of nature and adventure to visit this unique resort.

The view from the room was amazing, and the pool in the room was great. The room was spacious, with plenty of facilities and activities. The Thai food at the Roots restaurant was excellent, and the Italian restaurant was also great. The hotel provided complimentary beverages.

The staff barely spoke English and knocked on the door too many times. The air conditioning in the room was noisy. Prices for wine and food were expensive (wines ranging from 1,300 to 3,000 baht and food costing around 2,000 baht for a couple on average). The Western food at the Roots restaurant was poor (pasta, pizza, and burgers). The hotel was not in perfect condition (the bath handles were loose, and the garden was poorly maintained). There were many fire ants in the pool. The room and hotel did not meet the standards for the price charged.

The staff were amazingly helpful. The service was amazing! We didn’t want for anything. The accommodation was outstanding, they thought of everything. There are 2 toilets, one downstairs, one upstairs so you don’t have to run up and down whilst wet. The upstairs was beautiful and the bath! Just wow. The beach was also stunning. We loved staying there and it’s definitely one we’re hoping to return to on our next visit to Thailand! Ask the hotel about transport to the resort, this is something we missed so organised it ourselves. The hotel is literally off road, 20 minutes of track, which was slippery and bumpy…but so much fun! We had a wonderful driver to pick us up and take us there.

There wasn’t anything that we didn’t like!

Exceptional location, gorgeous private plunge pool - an excellent place to relax. The local hornbill birds are also amazing and will keep you entertained. The staff go above and beyond. We had the best meal of our trip at a local seafood restaurant on the island - Koh Yao Tha Ton Do Seafood.
